Alzheimer's Memory Walk

One of my patients has an alzheimer's disease and it's really not fun. She always walks in the hallway almost 24/7. She gets linen in the linen cart, food in the nursing station, and gathers stuffs everywhere and stock into her room. We always have to remind her to go back to her room because she sometimes open the emergency door which residents/patients are not suppose too because the alarm will go off and that door is only for emergency use. I know that it's not only her who suffers this kind of disease. They really need our support!!! We need to take care ourselves so that we won't get this terrible disease too.

Actually there is an event by the alzheimer's association called Alzheimer's Memory Walk. This is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. There are walks in more than 600 communities. A typical Memory Walk is a 2-3 mile walk held on a weekend morning in the fall.
Teaming up with the Alzheimer's Association, you can walk with a reason to LIVE without ALZHEIMER'S!!!

Sign up now and be the team captain.
